Availability and Rates
Private LessonsI teach private lessons Monday through Friday from about 10am to about 6pm. Private lessons are $80/hour.
The majority of my students come to my home for lessons, but I make house calls for a limited number of students for an additional charge.
Now for the bad news. Right now I have about a three or four-year waiting list. I know, I know, in four years the polar ice cap will have melted and we'll all be using guitars to paddle our liferafts. Here are some other great guitar teachers.
Group LessonsI'm taking 2007 off from teaching group lessons so that I can focus on producing an instructional DVD.
I will probably resume group lessons in January or February of 2008. I haven't decided what courses I'll offer, but they'll probably be either a Jam Workshop for intermediate students, a Blues Workshop for beginners, or a repertoire-building class for beginning and intermediate students.
Group lessons are typically limited to 6 adult students and meet once a week for a couple hours. The price works out to be about $40 per class meeting.
