Spring 2012 Coffee Shop Jam
May 19, 2012 at the Q Cafe
The Jams seem to just get better and better. So many memorable performances: Jack's soulful rendition of "Memphis Lives in Me" blew people away, Denali made some fans with his skillful pummeling of "Kings and Queens," Leigh debuted her lovely singing on the blues-rock song "Lonely Boy," and Gray won the crowd with his humor and enthusiasm as he rocked his hip-hop and electronica tunes.
It was fun to see how the young kids of past jams have grown in age and skill. Wesley's a seasoned performer now, Emma's a foot taller and continues to write delightful originals, and Connor has graduated from hard rock to death metal and is sporting a BC Rich Warlock that looks like it could hurt someone.
