I’ve always wanted to play guitar and sing, but I never thought I could until I met Rob. Rob made teaching fun and informative. Within a few weeks of starting lessons, I was strumming and singing my first song. He never pushed me into repetitive boring stuff. During every lesson, I learned new skills simply by learning the songs I love. I thought I was just having fun playing and singing new material, but all the while I was learning new chords, new strum patterns, vocal technique, rhythm, how to play in a band, and even music theory. Four months after I touched a guitar for the first time, I performed in public.


It’s been a few years since I started learning guitar, and it keeps getting more fun. I can now think of a song, find chords online and start playing, and then Rob helps me fine-tune it. Thanks to Rob, I have a new passion and new ability that has enhanced my quality of life. I continue find great joy and a stress-relief from simply picking up a guitar and playing a few songs.
